The Command Desk

Any professional art studios need a hard hitting director type person making sure that things run smoothly. Michael Staniak looks the part...... casual yet sophisticated at the same time. Note the fancy leather shoes he's wearing with his tennis shorts! What could he possibly be looking so serious about while talking on the phone and googling stuff at the same time.......? No doubt looking up the local Red Rooster!

Six Years Later

Contact

An artwork-only magazine that explores where a particular theme could lead society within a period of six years. It’s a big world and there are big problems. Six Years Later is an opportunity for artists around the world to have their voices heard and their artwork seen.
The Six Years Later magazine is a platform for artists to voice their opinions using their strongest medium; their artwork. This ranges from the more traditional mediums of painting and illustration, sculpture and photography, to the more precarious artwork of the uncommissioned variety. Basically, our magazine will showcase any kind of artwork that creatively responds to the theme – as long as you can capture it for print.

print exchange show being set up in london .... coming to the hills in nov

http://filmporvida.blogspot.com/2011/06/london-set-up-day-2.html

An essential part of any artist's diet...

Note here that artist Michael Peck is enjoying a cupcake, very much indeed. It looks like he's making the cupcake talk like a puppet... Has he found a new friend?? I think everyone should follow Mike's lead and make friends with a cupcake!

PECK: "Hello Mr. Cupcake."

CUPCAKE: "Hi Mike! Are you enjoying me??"

PECK: "Heck yes! You're yum!"

Infamous

It's always exciting meeting someone that's on the cover of a book. Especially from Playground Sweden. Although it looks more like Playground Cuba...

Welcome to the Paradise Hills Studios

This will be the first of many updates on what’s going on behind the closed doors of the Paradise Hills Studios, with news and info on up coming events, new works and just general thoughts about all things contemporary art and design.
We have over 20 emerging and established artists and designers working at the studios, which will soon be expanded to around 30. The eclectic mix of great minds and extraordinary talents will leave you nothing short of entertained. We hope that you follow them through their adventures in the visual world. We also have special guests that will keep this blog alive with bizarre content that will wow most of us.
Located amongst the studios is the Paradise Hills gallery space, which also has a wild range of exhibitions and events that this blog will definitely keep updated, as well as provide feed back on the shows.
So sit back and enjoy the visual wonderland that is Paradise Hills…
