Floating around a loose spatial theme, this body of paintings by Nicholas Ives incorporates diverse elements of figuration, landscape, non-objective abstraction, portraiture, architecture, the meta-physical and minimalism.
"‘I am Flying through Boundless Space’ is a disparate visual collection of spatial experiments and imaginary forms which flow from Ives’ unstructured studio method of experimentation - trying to find new methods for painting and working to create limitless spaces, new forms and painterly possibilities."
